Once again, Commerce Middle School is proud to partner with DAV (Disabled American Veterans) to honor the men and women who have served our nation.
This Veterans Day, we will plant our Field of Flags in front of Commerce Middle School. For a $10 donation, you can sponsor a flag in honor or memory of a veteran. Each flag will become part of a powerful display representing our gratitude for those who have sacrificed so much for our freedom.
Last year, we were incredibly honored when the story of Commerce Middle School's Field of Flags was featured nationally in DAV Magazine. The article, titled “Teaching Patriotism to Future Generations,” shared how our Field of Flags has become more than a display- it has become an opportunity to teach our students what service, sacrifice, patriotism, and gratitude truly mean.
Proceeds support DAV and the life-changing services it provides to ill and injured veterans and their families.
Every flag has a story.
Every flag represents sacrifice.
Every flag tells a veteran, “You are not forgotten.”
Together, let's create a Field of Flags that shows our veterans- and teaches our students- that Commerce remembers. Commerce honors. Commerce is grateful.

Mrs. Sayne’s 5th graders have been getting hands-on with weathering, erosion, and deposition! Through fun experiments, students explored how rocks and soil can be broken down, moved, and deposited in new locations.
Our scientists had a great time making observations, testing ideas, and seeing these Earth processes happen right before their eyes!
