Congratulations to the 8th grade Students of the Month for December!
ELA: Zymir sets a great example for his classmates by being hardworking and respectful.
Math: Lindsey is a kind and respectful student. She always gets her work completed without complaining and works hard.
SS: Braden is one of the most respectful students you'll find at CMS. He asks great questions, pays attention, and works hard every day!
SC: Lexi always has a positive attitude and is a fantastic student. Not only is Lexi a great student, but she displays exceptional character to both her teachers and classmates.
ELA Applications: Destiny’s enthusiasm for life is contagious! She is so much fun to have in the classroom and brings her own energy to every lesson.
Math Applications: Katie works very hard on all her assignments and activities and is always willing to participate in class and small group discussions.
Congratulations to Andrew Tyson for being selected as the winner of the our attendance drawing for having perfect attendance since the beginning of October! Thank you to Sanders Furniture for donating an Adirondack chair for our drawing.
The basketball games for today against Haymon Morris have been rescheduled. The games will be played this Saturday, December 16th. Boys will play at 9:00am and the girls will play at 10:00am.
Instead of meeting on Friday-FCA will meet this week on THURSDAY at 7:20 am in the gym.
As always-we will have a guest speaker and breakfast will be provided.
Kiara Sconyers, Phoebe Cox, Elizabeth Clay, and Asher Cook participated this weekend in the UGA MidFest. Students are selected from bands all over the state of Georgia. Congratulations on a job well done!
The CMS Book Fair is the Place to be! Last day is tomorrow. Come on in!
Parents: letters will be sent home today with students who earned the Friday Reward Day Off for their performance on the IReady Diagnostics. Also, tomorrow's dress-up theme is "Comfy-Clothes". Students are allowed to wear pajamas that are within dress code.
Remember to bring money for the Snowman Shuffle Dance admission and concessions TOMORROW!

Good game today for boys basketball with a new lineup playing against Banks at home. Boys lose a close one 30-24. Boys representing today were Jake Hobbs, Kaden Brock, CJ Duncan, Colby Chester , Draylin Parks, Jr. Roberts, and CJ Smith. Go Tigers!
There will be no boy's soccer conditioning next week. Boys soccer will resume after the holiday break.
Congrats to this week’s Terrific Tigers! These students were nominated by their teachers for showing the Positivity Project traits- traits focused on students of strong character, integrity, and caring for each other. We will recognize a group of students each week for P2 Traits and all students are eligible. Display those character traits and the next winner might be you!

Boys and girls basketball win again rolling through Bear Creek Middle School. Girls win 28-12 and boys win 54-16. Both teams remain undefeated in league play! Go Tigers!
