Congratulations to Dawn Pike our 4th Annual Chili Cook-off winner. Mrs. Pike will walk away with the coveted championship trophy along with all the glory and honor that comes with this prestigious win! Sliding in at a close second was Coach Lund with his “famous” walk the plank chili! Coming in at third place was Media Specialist, Carolyn Hutcheson. Thanks to all of the participants in the CMS 4th Annual Chili-Cook off.

ELA: Emily Albarran-Navarro - Emily works hard, is determined to try new things, and happily participates in class.
Math: Brittany Collins - Brittany is always respectful, works hard in class, and isn't afraid to ask questions when she's challenged!
SS: Auden Purdy - Auden is very attentive in class each day and is always eager to answer questions and participate in activities.
SC: Hunter Dailey - Hunter is a fantastic student. Not only does Hunter have a great attitude about school, but he is kind and respectful to everyone around him.
ELA Applications: Shad Worley - Shad is great to have in class. He is quiet in nature, works hard, and is always respectful.
Math Applications: Mayah Patman - Mayah is a diligent worker who gives her best effort every day in class during our activities and group discussions.

SC: Jaycie Jarvis - Jaycie has shown tremendous improvement through her hard work and her positive attitude.

ELA: Kenley Banks - Kenley works hard every day in class, collaborates well with her peers, and participates in classroom discussions. I'm so proud of her constant hard work!
Math: Luke Gulliver - Luke is a bright, creative, and inquisitive young man who is an amazing math student. He keeps all of us laughing with his sense of humor.
Math: Laylah Thao - Laylah is a silent leader who is always on task. She works very hard and has a strong desire to do well in math.
SS: Kenlyn Brown - Kenlyn comes in every day and quietly leads her class by setting an example of commitment to learning and a strong work ethic. She is an outstanding young lady and also leads outside the classroom as an FCA leader.
SC: Abbey Simmons - Abbey comes into class every day with a smile on her face and is always eager to learn. She is always respectful and is a great role model for other students.

Mrs. Cruz and Mr. Cotrell's classes went on a Community Based Instruction trip today to Quality Foods. Each student worked on job shadowing skills and how to find items throughout the store to complete a recipe. Thank you Quality Foods for having us!
