The Commerce Middle School FFA chapter has developed a project called Roam Near Home, and the idea is simple - get people (mainly young people) outside more and to b more active! FFA members have developed a map of over 50 different sites all within 50 miles of Commerce Middle School. Check out the map to see places we have pinned and to see links to student's research about the places. We have already had two groups visit two of the parks on the Roam Near Home map, and we are looking to see more people get out there! If you and your family visit one of these sites, please share your photos with april.davis@commercecityschools.org so that we can add your photos to the map! Check out Watson Mill Bridge State Park and Southeast Clarke Park to see photos from visits! In the future, we would like to get people to rate their visits, but for now, we just want people to get out there and enjoy!
