Save the Date for the CMS 8th Grade Dance on Friday, May 1st! The day of the dance will be a Digital Learning Day for 8th Grade students only.
Interested in becoming a CMS majorette? Majorette tryouts will be February 18–20 from 3:00–5:00 PM in the CMS gym. Please stop by the front office or the band room for more information.

Tonight, current 8th Graders and their parents will attend Rising 9th Grade Night at CHS to choose their classes for next school year. Last names A through M should arrive at 6:00 and last names N through Z should arrive at 6:30. Go Tigers!
There will be a tryout for all girls interested in playing golf on Tuesday, Feb 3rd @ Double Oaks. Meet on the golf range @ 3pm. Tryouts will last until 4:30. Contact tracy.hollars@commercecityschools.org with any questions.

The 8th Grade visit to CHS originally scheduled for today will be held during the school day tomorrow, Wednesday, January 28th. Rising 9th Grade Night at CHS will still take place on Thursday, January 29th. Please see the graphic for more information.
Today, Mrs. Sayne’s classes explored static electricity through an engaging lab using balloons, wool, and everyday materials. They investigated positive and negative charges, observed how objects attract and repel, and made careful observations like real scientists.
Lots of curiosity, great questions, and exciting “aha!” moments as learning came to life-literally sticking together!
Baseball Tryouts Update: Baseball tryouts will end at 4:15 PM today instead of 4:45 PM. Please plan pickups accordingly. Thank you!
