Please join us in celebrating Red Ribbon week, October 28th-November 1st. The Red Ribbon Campaign educates youth and celebrates a drug-free life.

Car Rider Parents: good morning! We are 12 weeks into the year and I am asking for your assistance. To ensure our pickup/drop-off is efficient and safe as possible I want to remind you of our procedures. For morning drop-off: students need to be ready to exit the car from the passenger side (if possible) when you get to the awning. Also. The exterior doors close at 7:58 am sharp. Students need to be in the building, if a car rider, prior to this time. In the afternoon, please make sure you have your hang tags displayed. If you have any questions, reach out to Dr. Powell directly. Thank you for your assistance!

Care for Carolina is coming November 4th - 8th! CMS will be collecting items to help those affected by Hurricane Helene in the Asheville, North Carolina area.
We will be collecting socks, gloves, hats, coats, diapers, and pull-ups. Donations can be given to your child's homeroom teacher. The homeroom from each grade level that collects the most items will receive doughnuts!

Ready to spell your way to victory? Sign up for the spelling bee and let your talents take center stage!
To sign up please visit your ELA teacher's Google Classroom.
The deadline to sign up is November 1st.

Please take 30 seconds to link your Ingles Advantage card to CMS. Our teachers & students would greatly appreciate it! We earn incentive dollars that can be used to purchase supplies like classroom pencil sharpeners, pencils, clocks, batteries, etc.
IMPORTANT - Please remember that cards must be linked again at the beginning of each school year.
