SS: Bronc Cash - Bronc is very intelligent and does a terrific job participating in social studies discussions each day.
SC: Parker Evans - Parker always works hard and participates in classroom discussions. He is always polite and willing to help if needed.
ELA Applications: Jordyn McCormick - Jordyn is super sweet and works hard. She is engaged in daily activities, and is a positive example for others.
Math Applications: Levi Raettig - Levi always works diligently on his assignments and participates in our discussions.

Math: Angel Ozil Zelaya - Ozil is an amazing math student who strives to not only be a good student, but also a good person and friend. He is always respectful and kind to everyone around him.
Math: Ayden Sears - Ayden is always on task and works very hard. He is a strong math student and sets an example for others to follow.
SS: Olivia Broutan - Olivia is super hardworking and helpful in the classroom and always has a positive attitude with her classmates and teachers.
SC: Sophia Lawrence - Sophia is always on tasks, works hard, and adds so much to the classroom discussions. She has become a great scientist! (not pictured)

Congrats to our CMS competition cheerleaders for winning the PAC IX title on Saturday! Commerce held the highest score of 66.5 with West Jackson coming in as the runner up with a score of 60.5.

In honor of Custodian Appreciation Day, we would like to give a huge shout out to all of our incredible custodians. Thank you for everything you do to keep CMS safe, beautiful, and clean every single day!

CMS students who sold ten or more Tiger Discount Cards enjoyed a picnic lunch and an afternoon at Hurricane Shoals Park today. Our students sold a total of 1670 cards this year - the most cards that CMS has ever sold! Thank you to each of our students and parents for your support of our annual fundraiser.









CMS Beta Club members treated our CCSS bus drivers to a sweet treat during afternoon busy duty on Thursday. Thank you to all of our bus drivers for getting our students to and from school safely each day. We appreciate you!




Red Ribbon Week will be next week 10/23-1027! Students are encouraged to participate in dressing up to celebrate this year's theme, "Be Kind to Your Mind. Live Drug Free.."

Coach Puckett’s classes have been learning about cattle trails in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. To wrap up the unit, his students did research and included it on their own cattle trails made out of index cards and yarn.

Commerce First United Methodist Church is excited to be hosting the Annual Thanksgiving Meal. First Baptist Church of Commerce, Commerce Presbyterian Church and many other community partners have once again joined with them to provide Thanksgiving meals to the community.
