SS: Jackson VanGoosen - Jackson does what is expected of him without complaining and is always engaged in class discussions.

ELA: Braylynne Roudebush - Braylynne has made great progress this year as both a reader and writer!
ELA: Jaycee Peyton - Jaycee is always engaged and working hard in class. I am incredibly proud of her hard work and dedication from the beginning of the year to now.
Math: CJ Duncan - CJ has stepped up in class to become a leader, works hard to be his best, and is always respectful and kind to those around him.
Math: Titus Paul - Titus has worked very hard this past month. I'm grateful for his efforts. He's a great mathematician!
SS: Kipton Stephenson - Kipton serves his school in many positive ways. He is an FCA leader, a model student, and an all-around terrific young man.
SC: Connor Milford - Connor has grown so much as a scientist this year. She is always prepared for class, answers questions, helps others, and has a positive attitude.


FCA will meet in the CMS gym this Friday, April 28th at 7:20. There will be a guest speaker and breakfast will be provided.


CMS Fastpitch Softball tryouts will be May 3, 4, and 5th from 4-6:30. Please make sure your child has a current physical on file in the CMS front office before tryouts begin.

CMS will offer a limited number of free physicals on a first come, first served basis on Tuesday, May 2nd. These free physicals are only available to CMS students who plan to play a CMS sport in the fall of 2023. Physicals will be completed during the school day.
Students must pick up a physical packet from the CMS front office and have the parent portions of the forms completed and returned to the front office by 3:00pm on Friday, April 28th. Physical slots are limited and will not be reserved for students until the parent forms have been completed.


The winner of our M&M Challenge with a guess of 4736 is... Mr. Shirley's Homeroom!! Thank you to all who participated. We are sure these sweet treats will help during our Milestones testing next week.

Congrats to our CMS students who participated in the UGA MathCounts Tournament today. The team placed 3rd overall and 3rd in Speed Round math. Bella Tuttle received 2nd place overall in the individual category. Proud of all of our students for representing CMS today!

CMS Spring 2023 Milestones testing starts next week!
Please make every effort to have students arrive at school on time, well-rested, and mentally/emotionally prepared to perform to the best of their ability. We use Milestones data to determine grade level proficiency, demonstrate growth, identify learning gaps, and make placement decisions for the upcoming school year.
Testing will take place from 8:00-11:30 each day.
