ELA: Sara Castillo - Sara gives her best effort every day, and it definitely shows by her consistent progress.
ELA: Kenley Banks - Kenley works hard every day in class, collaborates well with her peers, and participates in classroom discussions. I'm so proud of her constant hard work!
Math: Luke Gulliver - Luke is a bright, creative, and inquisitive young man who is an amazing math student. He keeps all of us laughing with his sense of humor.
Math: Laylah Thao - Laylah is a silent leader who is always on task. She works very hard and has a strong desire to do well in math.
SS: Kenlyn Brown - Kenlyn comes in every day and quietly leads her class by setting an example of commitment to learning and a strong work ethic. She is an outstanding young lady and also leads outside the classroom as an FCA leader.
SC: Abbey Simmons - Abbey comes into class every day with a smile on her face and is always eager to learn. She is always respectful and is a great role model for other students.

Mrs. Cruz and Mr. Cotrell's classes went on a Community Based Instruction trip today to Quality Foods. Each student worked on job shadowing skills and how to find items throughout the store to complete a recipe. Thank you Quality Foods for having us!

CMS girls and boys basketball get their first wins of the season. Girls win 32-10 and boys 57-23 tonight vs. Towns Co. Go Tigers!

CMS is extremely proud of our students for selling 1670 Tiger Discount Cards this year! Students enjoyed a sumo wrestling match between Dr. Powell and Mr. Corkery on Friday as a reward for their hard work. It was something to see for sure!
The CMS Beta Club along with Mr Tyson organized a food drive to benefit the Banks Jackson Food Bank this week. Over 1266 food items were donated by CMS students.
The winners of our homeroom food donations challenge were:

After our fundraising event we are going to go ahead and release car riders and bus riders 10 minutes early. Come on and get them. Have a great weekend!
Only TWO days left to turn in donations for the food drive. The winning homeroom for each grade level will get to enjoy a pizza party! The deadline for donations is this FRIDAY!

CMS Competition Cheer takes 1st place at Loganville last Saturday. Our Comp Cheer team is the current Pac-IX champion and continues to dominate the competition. Way to go ladies! Go Tigers!
